I would like to thank everyone who
believed in the comic book Jahannam. I drew the first character
sketch of Jahannam more than 6 years ago. From that day on, I knew
it would one day be a comic book. It would have a fresh story with
new characters, new stories, and a whole new philosophy. What you
are about to read is a whole new way of storytelling. You are about
to meet some very unique and twisted individuals.
I started out on this project alone, taking on the role of penciler,
inker, and even colorist. Along the way, I ran into a few creative
people who are now proud members of the Jahannam team. Day by day,
we have culled a more animated style for Jahannam, which I am very
proud of. This high level of perfection could never have reached,
if not for this amazing team of individuals.
I hope you find the story as refreshing as I do! This is not your
average hero story. In fact, there are no heroes in this story,
only souls striving to complete their life's mission. I am very
proud of what we have managed to accomplish in such a short period
of time. Whether you love it, or hate it, I must thank you for giving
us a chance. I would like to once again thank my wonderful team
and everyone who has made Jahannam a success.

Shafaquj
Born: Amman, Jordan September 16, 1977
Position: Musician
Interests: Cars, Movies, Anything crazy & Challenging
Inspirations: From Classical to heavy metal! I started
playing guitar when I was 18 years old. I learned on an acoustic,
and progressed to an electric guitar two years later. I have
been in a few bands, most notable was a band named "ETHEREAL."
It was a resounding success for us, and our fan base grew
quickly locally, and spread to neighboring nations. Ethereal
was renamed "TURAB," due to plans of signing a Contract
with EMI records. We started recording until the band broke
up, and the album was never finished. Eventually, I started
recording my own full composition and production in my semi-pro
home studio. During that time, I penned many compositions
until, one day, I met Amer Kokh. It was then that Rami and
I started working on a comic soundtrack for a new project
called Jahannam. The soundtrack is still in production at
this
